A delegation of five students from HZPT visited Columbus Technical College, Georgia from July 6th to July 13th 2013. President Hoover, vice President Dr. Linn Stoery, and director of International Center of Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Dr. Ian Bond, met the delegation and extended warm welcome.

A tight but interesting schedule of study activities was arranged for the delegation. Lectures of American history and culture, English language classes, as well as individual practice classes were offered according to students’ different major backgrounds. During the week-long stay, over twenty CTC teachers were involved in teaching and providing services to the students.

American administrative and judicial systems were also an important part for the delegation to learn. Teresa Tomlinson, Mayor of Columbus, and John D. Allen, Chief Judge welcomed the students and respectively gave impressive lectures on administrative and judicial systems. Delegation member Feng Qianqian was even awarded to use the gavel for her meaningful question.
